Leveraging our Past for a Stable Future
The theme for Slope Stability 2022 is “Leveraging our Past for a Stable Future” which really speaks to importance of industry and academic professionals meeting together to share learnings, see the latest in technology, and build relationships. Besides a wide variety of excellent technical sessions and keynote speakers, we are planning several activities to make this the “must attend” event for 2022, including:

-
Attracting the next generation of professionals with sponsorships and activities for students.

-
Golf Tournament hosted by Arizona Chapter of Women in Mining.

-
Recording of sessions and providing on-demand access for professionals unable to attend in person.

-
Mine tours to local mines.

-
Technical Workshops before and after the symposium.

-
Activities for spouses and partners.

-
Social events and time to build networks during the symposium.
