Keynote Announcement: Peter Terbrugge, Lessons from Large Failures



The Slope Stability 2022 organizing committee is delighted to announce that Peter Terbrugge, Corporate Consultant with SRK Consulting in South Africa will deliver a keynote presentation on the Lessons Learned from Large Failures.


Peter has over 45 years of experience in mine engineering and mining geotechnics. Peter’s specialisations include engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, slope stability, open pit mining and site investigations. He has also carried out mine feasibility studies, due diligence and independent geotechnical review of mining projects as well as tunnelling. Peter is a fellow of three technical societies, an associate of one technical society and a registered professional natural scientist with SACNASP.
